Anas bin Malik reported,

Prices rose in Madinah during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so the people said, "Messenger of Allah, prices have risen. Set fixed prices for us."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Indeed, Allah is the One who sets prices, who withholds and gives abundantly, and He is the Provider. I truly hope to meet Allah with no one among you holding a claim against me for a wrong concerning blood or wealth."

غلا السعر بالمدينة على عهد رسول الله ﷺ فقال الناس يا رسول الله غلا السعر سعر لنا فقال رسول الله ﷺ إن الله هو المسعر القابض الباسط الرزاق إني لأرجو أن ألقى الله عز وجل وليس أحد منكم يطلبني بمظلمة في دم ولا مال
