My mother sent me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ with something, and I saw him standing with a branding iron in his hand, branding the camels of charity.
حدثنا عبد الله حدثنا علي بن إسرائيل سألت أبي عنه فقال شيخ ثقة أخبرنا أبو إسحاق يعني الفزاري عن الأوزاعي عن إسحاق بن عبد الله بن أبي طلحة

Its isnad is sahih. Ali bin Israil, also said to be Ibn Abu Israil, was deemed trustworthy by Ahmad, based explicitly on the isnad, and this was transmitted from him by Husayni and Ibn Hajar in Taj Il. This hadith has occurred before, and it explicitly states that Anas brought his brother so that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ might perform the tahnik for him, which has occurred very many times before.
