A young Jewish boy used to serve the Prophet ﷺ. He fell ill, so the Prophet ﷺ came to visit him and sat by his head. He said to him, "Accept Islam."The boy looked toward his father, who was beside his head, and the father said, "Obey Abu al-Qasim."So the boy embraced Islam, and the Prophet ﷺ left, saying, "Praise be to Allah who has saved him through me from the Fire."
حدثنا سليمان بن حرب حدثنا حماد بن زيد عن ثابت
أن غلاما يهوديا كان يخدم النبي ﷺ فمرض فأتاه النبي ﷺ يعوده فقعد عند رأسه فقال له أسلم فنظر إلى أبيه وهو عند رأسه فقال أطع أبا القاسم فأسلم فخرج النبي ﷺ من عنده وهو يقول الحمد لله الذي أنقذه بي من النار
