I was sitting with Anas, and a daughter of his was with him. Anas said, "A woman came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, 'Prophet of Allah, do you have any need of me?'"His daughter remarked, "How little modesty she had!"Anas replied, "She was better than you. She desired the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, so she offered herself to him."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا مرحوم قال سمعت
كنت مع أنس جالسا وعنده ابنة له فقال أنس جاءت امرأة إلى النبي ﷺ فقالت يا نبي الله هل لك في حاجة فقالت ابنته ما كان أقل حياءها فقال هي خير منك رغبت في رسول الله ﷺ فعرضت عليه نفسها
Its isnad is sahih. Marhoom is Ibn Abdul-Aziz. The hadith of the woman who offered herself in marriage has occurred many times before. It is found in Bukhari 7/17, in the Book of Marriage, chapter on a woman offering herself, and in Muslim 2/1040, number 1425, in the Book of Marriage, chapter on the dowry and the permissibility of it being the teaching of Quran.
