They asked Anas bin Malik whether the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a ring.He replied, "Yes."Then he said, "One night the Messenger of Allah ﷺ delayed the late evening prayer until nearly half the night had passed. Then he said, 'The people have prayed and gone to sleep, but you have remained in prayer as long as you waited for the prayer.'"Anas said, "It is as if I can still see the gleam of his ring as he raised his left hand."
حدثنا عفان حدثنا حماد بن سلمة قال
أنهم سألوا أنس بن مالك أكان لرسول الله ﷺ خاتم فقال نعم ثم قال أخر رسول الله ﷺ عشاء الآخرة ذات ليلة حتى كاد يذهب شطر الليل فقال إن الناس قد صلوا وناموا وإنكم لم تزالوا في صلاة ما انتظرتم الصلاة قال أنس وكأني أنظر إلى وبيص خاتمه ورفع يده اليسرى
