I was sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the circle, and a man was standing in prayer. When he had performed his bowing and prostration and recited the testimony of faith, he said in his supplication, "Allah, I ask You, for to You belongs all praise. There is no god but You, the Bestower of favors, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Possessor of majesty and honor. Living, Sustaining One, I ask You."The Prophet ﷺ then asked, "Do you know with what he has called upon Allah?"They replied, "Allah and His Messenger know best."He said, "By the One in whose hand my soul is, he has called upon Allah by His greatest name, which when He is called upon by it, He answers, and when He is asked by it, He gives."
