The Prophet ﷺ would pass by a date lying on the ground, and nothing would prevent him from picking it up and eating it except the fear that it might be from the dates of charity.

كان النبي ﷺ يمر بالتمرة فما يمنعه أن يأخذها فيأكلها إلا مخافة أن تكون من تمر الصدقة
