I never prayed behind any imam whose prayer was lighter or more complete than that of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. If the Messenger of Allah ﷺ heard a child crying behind him, he would shorten the prayer for fear of causing hardship to the child's mother.

ما صليت وراء إمام قط أخف صلاة من رسول الله ﷺ ولا أتم وإن كان رسول الله ﷺ ليسمع بكاء الصبي وراءه فيخفف مخافة أن يشق على أمه
