He informed them that the Prophet ﷺ said, "While I was walking in Paradise, a river suddenly appeared before me whose banks were domes of hollowed pearl. I asked, 'Jibreel, what is this?' He replied, 'This is al-Kawthar, which your Lord has granted you.' Then I struck my hand into it, and behold, its mud was the most fragrant musk, and its pebbles were pearls."Ubayy said, and Abdul-Wahhab said from his book, I read that the angel who was with me said, "Do you know what this is? This is al-Kawthar, which your Lord has granted you." Then he struck his hands into its bed and brought out musk from its mud.
حدثنا عبد الوهاب بن عطاء أبو نصر العجلي الخفاف قال أخبرنا سعيد عن قتادة
أنه أنبأهم عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال بينما أنا أسير في الجنة إذ عرض لي نهر حافتاه قباب اللؤلؤ المجوف قال فقلت يا جبريل ما هذا قال هذا الكوثر الذي أعطاك ربك عز وجل قال فضربت بيدي فيه فإذا طينه المسك الأذفر وإذا رضراضه اللؤلؤ قال أبي و قال عبد الوهاب من كتابه قرأت قال الملك الذي معي أتدري ما هذا هذا الكوثر الذي أعطاك ربك فضرب بيديه إلى أرضه فأخرج من طينه المسك
