The Messenger of Allah ﷺ visited us at our home, so we milked a goat we kept and mixed its milk with water from the house. To the right of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat a man from the desert people, and behind that man was Umar bin Khattab. To the left of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat Abu Bakr.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ drank, and when he had taken the cup from his mouth, or was about to take it away, Umar said to him, "Messenger of Allah, give it to Abu Bakr."But the Messenger of Allah ﷺ handed the cup to the Arabi, then said, "The one on the right, then the one on the right."
حدثنا أبو سلمة يوسف بن يعقوب الماجشون عن ابن شهاب
زارنا رسول الله ﷺ في دارنا فحلبنا له داجنا لنا وشبنا لبنها من ماء الدار وعن يمين رسول الله ﷺ رجل من أهل البادية ومن وراء الرجل عمر بن الخطاب وعن يسار رسول الله ﷺ أبو بكر فشرب رسول الله ﷺ حتى إذا نزع القدح عن فيه أو هم بنزعه قال له عمر يا رسول الله أعط أبا بكر فأعطى رسول الله ﷺ القدح الأعرابي ثم قال الأيمن فالأيمن
