A man asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the coming of the Hour, and just then the prayer was called. After he had finished his prayer, he asked, "Where is the one who was asking about the Hour?"The man said, "Here I am, Messenger of Allah."He asked, "What have you prepared for it, for it is surely coming?"The man replied, "I have not prepared much for it in terms of deeds, except that I love Allah and His Messenger."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "You will be with those whom you love."The narrator said, "The Muslims never rejoiced over anything after Islam as much as they rejoiced over this."
حدثنا يونس وحسن بن موسى قالا حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن ثابت البناني
أن رجلا سأل رسول الله ﷺ عن قيام الساعة وأقيمت الصلاة فلما قضى صلاته قال أين السائل عن الساعة فقال الرجل ها أنا ذا يا رسول الله قال وما أعددت لها فإنها قائمة قال ما أعددت لها من كثير عمل غير أني أحب الله ورسوله فقال رسول الله ﷺ أنت مع من أحببت قال فما فرح المسلمون بشيء بعد الإسلام أشد مما فرحوا به
