Anas was asked whether the Prophet ﷺ dyed his hair. He replied, "The Messenger of Allah's ﷺ graying had not reached a point that required dyeing. If I wished, I could count the gray hairs in his beard. But Abu Bakr used to dye his hair with henna and katam, and Umar used to dye his with henna."
