A man asked, "Messenger of Allah, when is the Hour?"The Prophet ﷺ replied, "What have you prepared for it?"The man said, "Nothing, except that I love Allah and His Messenger."The Prophet ﷺ said, "You will be with those you love."Anas said, "Nothing has made us rejoice, after embracing Islam, more than the Prophet's ﷺ saying, 'You will be with those you love.' So I love the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abu Bakr, and Umar, and I hope to be with them because of my love for them, even though I do not match their deeds."

أن رجلا قال يا رسول الله متى الساعة قال وماذا أعددت لها قال لا إلا أني أحب الله ورسوله قال فإنك مع من أحببت قال أنس فما فرحنا بشيء بعد الإسلام فرحنا بقول النبي ﷺ إنك مع من أحببت قال فأنا أحب رسول الله ﷺ وأبا بكر وعمر وأنا أرجو أن أكون معهم لحبي إياهم وإن كنت لا أعمل بعملهم
