A man asked him, "Should I recite the Quran during bowing and prostration?"He replied, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'I have been forbidden from reciting the Quran during bowing and prostration. So when you bow, glorify Allah, and when you prostrate, strive earnestly in supplication, for it is most likely that your prayers will be answered.'"
Its isnad is daif, because of Abdul-Rahman bin Ishaq, and it is a longer version of 1329."Aqra" is read with a prolonged hamza and a silent qaf. Its original form is "a-aqra," where the second hamza was changed into an alif to avoid the difficulty of combining two hamzas together. This is how Warsh and other reciters read it, as in "a-andhartahum" and similar words. Zamakhshari rejected this, on the grounds that it involves combining two silent letters together, but Abu Hayan responded to him that a reading established through transmission as sahih cannot be dismissed merely by preference for particular doctrinal schools.See Bahr 1:47–48, Ibn Ukbari's Irab al-Quran 1:9, Nashr 1:358, and Ithaf Fudala al-Bashar 44.
