The Messenger of Allah ﷺ had a silver ring with an Abyssinian stone set in it.
حدثنا معاوية بن عمرو حدثنا عبد الله بن وهب عن يونس عن الزهري
كان لرسول الله ﷺ خاتم من ورق فصه حبشي
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Muawiya bin Amr is al-Azdi, Abu Amr al-Baghdadi. The hadith was narrated by Muslim, 3/1658, no. 2094, in the book of clothing, chapter on silver rings, Abu Dawud, 4/88, no. 4216, in the book of rings, chapter on what has been said about wearing rings, and Nasai, 8/172, no. 5196, in the book of adornment, chapter on the description of the ring of the Prophet ﷺ.
