The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked a man from among his companions, "So-and-so, have you married?"The man replied, "No, and I do not have anything with which to marry."The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Do you not know Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad?"He said, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ said, "That is a quarter of the Quran."He asked, "Do you not know Qul ya ayyuha al-kafirun?"He said, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ said, "That is a quarter of the Quran."He asked, "Do you not know Idha zulzilat al-ardu?"He said, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ said, "That is a quarter of the Quran."He asked, "Do you not know Idha jaa Nasru Allahi?"He said, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ said, "That is a quarter of the Quran."He asked, "Do you not know Ayat al-Kursi, Allahu la ilaha illa Huwa?"He said, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ said, "That is a quarter of the Quran." Then he said, "Marry, marry, marry," three times.
حدثنا عبد الله بن الحارث قال حدثني سلمة بن وردان أن
أن رسول الله ﷺ سأل رجلا من صحابته فقال أي فلان هل تزوجت قال لا وليس عندي ما أتزوج به قال أليس معك قل هو الله أحد قال بلى قال ربع القرآن قال أليس معك قل يا أيها الكافرون قال بلى قال ربع القرآن قال أليس معك إذا زلزلت الأرض قال بلى قال ربع القرآن قال أليس معك إذا جاء نصر الله قال بلى قال ربع القرآن قال أليس معك آية الكرسي الله لا إله إلا هو قال بلى قال ربع القرآن قال تزوج تزوج تزوج ثلاث مرات
