The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The plague is martyrdom for every Muslim."
حدثنا إبراهيم بن إسحاق الطالقاني حدثنا عبد الله يعني ابن مبارك عن عاصم بن سليمان عن حفصة بنت سيرين
قال رسول الله ﷺ الطاعون شهادة لكل مسلم
Its isnad is sahih, and Hafsa bint Sirin, mother of Huzayl al-Ansariyya, is trustworthy, and the hadith has already appeared at 12458.
