Anas bin Malik reported,

It was suggested to the Prophet ﷺ, "Why don't you go to Abdullah bin Ubayy?"So the Prophet of Allah ﷺ set out to him, riding a donkey, while the Muslims walked along with him through salty, marshy ground. When the Prophet ﷺ reached him, Abdullah said, "Get away from me. The smell of your donkey has offended me."A man from the Ansar replied, "By Allah, the smell of the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ donkey is more fragrant than you."A man from Abdullah's own people then became angry on his behalf, and the companions of each man became angry on behalf of their own. A scuffle broke out between them with palm branches, fists, and sandals. We were told that it was about them that this verse was revealed, "And if two parties among the believers fall into a fight, then make peace between them" [Hujurat 49:9].
