The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never dyed his hair. There were only a few white hairs at the front of his beard, in the small tuft beneath his lower lip, on his head, and at his temples, scarcely visible. Abu Bakr, however, dyed his hair with henna.

أن رسول الله ﷺ لم يخضب قط إنما كان البياض في مقدم لحيته وفي العنفقة وفي الرأس وفي الصدغين شيئا لا يكاد يرى وإن أبا بكر خضب بالحناء
