We left the noon prayer with Kharijah bin Zayd and went in to see Anas bin Malik. He said, "Jariya, look and see if the time has come."She replied, "Yes."We said to him, "We have only just now left the noon prayer with the imam."He stood up and prayed the afternoon prayer, then said, "This is how we used to pray with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ."
حدثنا عبد الملك بن عمرو
انصرفنا من الظهر مع خارجة بن زيد فدخلنا على أنس بن مالك فقال يا جارية انظري هل حانت قال قالت نعم فقلنا له إنما انصرفنا من الظهر الآن مع الإمام قال فقام فصلى العصر ثم قال هكذا كنا نصلي مع رسول الله ﷺ

Its isnad is sahih. Kharija bin Abdullah bin Sulayman bin Zayd bin Thabit is accepted by them, and his father was mentioned by Ibn Hibban in al-Thiqat, while Bukhari was silent about him in Tarikh al-Kabir 3/1/108, as was Abu Hatim, as noted in al-Jarh 5/74.
