Anas was asked about the hair of the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, "I have not seen hair more like the hair of the Prophet ﷺ than that of Qatada." Qatada was overjoyed that day.
حدثنا عفان حدثنا حماد
أن أنسا سئل عن شعر النبي ﷺ فقال ما رأيت شعرا أشبه بشعر النبي ﷺ من قتادة ففرح يومئذ قتادة
Its isnad is sahih. This shows what the righteous predecessors held of love for following the example of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, even in something that was particular to him alone.
