The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Last night I saw myself as if I were in the house of Rafi bin Uqba." Hasan's version says, "in the house of Uqba bin Rafi." "We were brought some dates from the variety known as Ibn Tab. I interpreted this to mean that elevation is ours in this world, a good outcome awaits us in the hereafter, and that our religion has reached its fullness and goodness."
حدثنا عبد الصمد وحسن قالا حدثنا حماد عن ثابت
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال رأيت كأني الليلة في دار رافع بن عقبة قال حسن في دار عقبة بن رافع فأوتينا بتمر من تمر ابن طاب فأولت أن لنا الرفعة في الدنيا والعاقبة في الآخرة وأن ديننا قد طاب
Its isnad is sahih. Muslim reported the hadith in 4/1779, no. 2270, in the book of Dreams, on the dreams of the Prophet ﷺ, and Abu Dawud reported it in the book of Manners, in the chapter on what has been said about dreams, 4/306, no. 5025.
