The Prophet of Allah ﷺ did not come out to us for three days. The prayer was called, and Abu Bakr went forward to lead it. Then the Prophet ﷺ reached for the curtain and raised it. When the face of the Prophet ﷺ became visible to us, we had never beheld a sight more beautiful to us than the face of the Prophet of Allah ﷺ as it appeared before us. He ﷺ gestured with his hand to Abu Bakr to step forward, then the Prophet of Allah ﷺ let down the curtain, and we were not able to see him again until he died.
حدثنا عبد الصمد حدثني أبي حدثنا عبد العزيز
لم يخرج إلينا نبي الله ﷺ ثلاثا وأقيمت الصلاة فذهب أبو بكر يتقدم فقال النبي ﷺ بالحجاب فرفعه فلما وضح لنا وجه النبي ﷺ ما نظرنا منظرا قط كان أعجب إلينا من وجه نبي الله ﷺ حين وضح لنا فأومأ بيده ﷺ إلى أبي بكر أن يتقدم وأرخى نبي الله ﷺ الحجاب فلن يقدر عليه حتى مات
