Anas bin Malik reported,

He was saying, "I gifted the Messenger of Allah ﷺ three birds, and he gave one of them to his servant to eat. The next day, she brought it back to him, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, 'Did I not forbid you from storing anything away? Indeed, Allah brings the provision of each new day.'"

حدثنا مروان بن معاوية قال أخبرني هلال بن سويد أبو معلى قال سمعت

وهو يقول أهديت لرسول الله ﷺ ثلاثة طوائر فأطعم خادمه طائرا فلما كان من الغد أتته به فقال لها رسول الله ﷺ ألم أنهك أن ترفعي شيئا فإن الله عز وجل يأتي برزق كل غد
