A cup of water was brought to the Prophet ﷺ and he performed ablution with it.The narrator said, I asked Anas, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform ablution before every prayer?"Anas replied, "Yes."I asked, "And what about you all?"He said, "We used to pray several prayers with a single ablution."The narrator said, I asked him about this again later, and he said, "As long as we had not broken our ablution."

أتي النبي ﷺ بقدح من ماء فتوضأ قال فقلت لأنس أكان رسول الله ﷺ يتوضأ عند كل صلاة قال نعم قال قلت فأنتم قال كنا نصلي الصلوات بوضوء واحد قال ثم سألته بعد ذلك فقال ما لم نحدث
