The Prophet ﷺ used to visit Umm Sulaym, who had a young son called Abu Umayr. The Prophet ﷺ would say to him, "Abu Umayr, what happened to the little nughayr?" The nughayr was a small bird he used to play with.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would sometimes visit Umm Sulaym and converse with her at her home. When the time for prayer came upon him there, he would pray on a mat, which was a straw rug she would sprinkle with water.
حدثنا بهز حدثني موسى بن سعيد عن أبي التياح
كان النبي ﷺ يزور أم سليم ولها ابن صغير يقال له أبو عمير وكان النبي ﷺ يقول يا أبا عمير ما فعل النغير قال نغر يلعب به وإن رسول الله ﷺ كان يزور أم سليم أحيانا ويتحدث عندها فتدركه الصلاة فيصلي على بساط وهو حصير ينضحه بالماء
