I asked Anas bin Malik about shortening the prayer. He said, "We traveled with the Prophet ﷺ from Medina to Mecca, and he led us in two-rakat prayers until we returned."I asked him, "Did he stay there?"He replied, "Yes, we stayed in Mecca for ten days."
