Anas bin Malik reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a man who was being supported between his two sons. The people said, "He has vowed to walk."He said, "Allah has no need for this man to torment himself," and he ordered him to ride.

أن رسول الله ﷺ مر برجل وهو يهادى بين ابنيه قالوا نذر أن يمشي قال إن الله عز وجل لغني عن تعذيب هذا نفسه فأمره أن يركب
