Anas bin Malik reported,

It was mentioned to me that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, though I did not hear it from him directly, "Among you are people who worship and exert themselves diligently until others admire them and they admire themselves. They will pass through the religion as an arrow passes through its target."

عن أنس قال

ذكر لي أن رسول الله ﷺ قال ولم أسمعه منه إن فيكم قوما يعبدون ويدأبون حتى يعجب بهم الناس وتعجبهم نفوسهم يمرقون من الدين مروق السهم من الرمية
