Anas bin Malik was asked about the earnings of the cupper. He said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was cupped by Abu Taybah, and he ordered that he be given a saa of barley. He also spoke to his masters, asking them to reduce his daily dues. He said, 'The best remedies you can treat yourselves with are cupping and sea costus.'"
