Humayd reported,

Anas was asked about the night prayer of the Prophet ﷺ. He said, "We never wished to see him praying without seeing him doing so, nor sleeping without seeing him doing so."

سئل أنس عن صلاة النبي ﷺ بالليل فقال ما كنا نشاء أن نراه مصليا إلا رأيناه ولا نائما إلا رأيناه
