Shall I narrate to you a hadith I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, one that no one after me will be able to tell you having heard it directly from him? Among the signs of the Hour are that knowledge will be taken away, ignorance will become widespread, fornication will spread openly, wine will be drunk, Some men will perish, and women will remain, until there will be only one man to look after fifty women.
حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة ويزيد بن هارون أخبرنا شعبة قال سمعت قتادة يحدث
ألا أحدثكم بحديث سمعته من رسول الله ﷺ لا يحدثكم أحد بعدي سمعه منه إن من أشراط الساعة أن يرفع العلم ويظهر الجهل ويفشو الزنا ويشرب الخمر ويذهب الرجال ويبقى النساء حتى يكون لخمسين امرأة قيم واحد
