The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up and warned the people. A man rose and asked, "When is the Hour, Messenger of Allah?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ frowned in his face, so we said to him, "Sit down, for you have asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ something he dislikes."Then the man stood up a second time and said, "Messenger of Allah, when is the Hour?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ frowned in his face more severely than the first time, so we made him sit down.Then he stood up a third time and said, "Messenger of Allah, when is the Hour?"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Woe to you, what have you prepared for it?"He replied, "I have prepared for it love of Allah and His Messenger."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Sit down, for you will be with those you love."
حدثنا حجاج حدثنا ليث قال حدثني سعيد يعني المقبري عن شريك بن عبد الله بن أبي نمر
أن رسول الله ﷺ قام فحذر الناس فقام رجل فقال متى الساعة يا رسول الله فبسر رسول الله ﷺ في وجهه فقلنا له اقعد فإنك قد سألت رسول الله ﷺ ما يكره قال ثم قام الثانية فقال يا رسول الله متى الساعة قال فبسر رسول الله ﷺ في وجهه أشد من الأولى فأجلسناه قال ثم قام الثالثة فقال يا رسول الله متى الساعة فقال له رسول الله ﷺ ويحك وما أعددت لها قال أعددت لها حب الله ورسوله فقال له رسول الله ﷺ اجلس فإنك مع من أحببت
