Jibreel came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "We do not enter a house in which there is an image or a dog." The dog belonged to Hasan and was inside the house.
Its isnad is very daif, because of Amr bin Khalid Wasiti, and detailed discussion of him has already preceded regarding a similar isnad in 1246, 1247, 1252, 1253. As for Abdullah's teacher here, who is Abu Salam Khalil ibn Salim, he has a biographical entry in Ajli 117-118, where it is related from Abu Hatim that he said, "Unknown," and from Ibn Hibban, "He is unique in narrating things that are not corroborated. I prefer to avoid the reports he narrated alone." Then he wanted to add a comment and said, "I say," and left the space blank. He also has an entry in Lisan, but nothing further was added there.
