A Jewish man killed a young Ansari girl for some jewelry she was wearing, then threw her into a well and crushed her head with stones. He was caught and brought to the Prophet ﷺ, who ordered that he be stoned to death, and he was stoned until he died.

أن رجلا من اليهود قتل جارية من الأنصار على حلي لها ثم ألقاها في قليب ورضخ رأسها بالحجارة فأخذ فأتي به النبي ﷺ فأمر به أن يرجم حتى يموت فرجم حتى مات
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari related the hadith in Fath al-Bari 12/204, no. 6879, in the chapter on blood money, on the one who kills with a stone, and Muslim in 3/1299, no. 1672, in the chapter on qasamah, on the establishment of retaliation for killing with a stone.
