The Messenger of Allah ﷺ established a bond of brotherhood between Abu Ubayda bin Jarra and Abu Talha.
حدثنا عبد الصمد حدثنا حماد حدثنا ثابت
أن رسول الله ﷺ آخى بين أبي عبيدة بن الجراح وبين أبي طلحة
Its chain of transmission is sahih. It is found in Muslim, 4/1960, no. 2528, in the Book of Virtues, on the Prophet's ﷺ pairing his companions as brothers.
