Its isnad is extremely daif due to a break in it, for Hasan bin Zakwan did not hear from Habib bin Abu Thabit. Ibn Abu Hatim said in Marasil (17), on the authority of Ibn Main, "Hasan bin Zakwan did not hear anything at all from Habib bin Abu Thabit. He only heard from Amr bin Khalid, from him, and Amr bin Khalid's hadith is worthless, he is nothing but a liar."This hadith is one of the two hadiths we referred to in (1246) as ones he did not hear directly from him, but rather heard from Amr bin Khalid, as Dhahabi stated explicitly in Mizan (1:227-228). It is also found in Majma al-Zawaid (3:94), where he said, "Abdullah bin Ahmad and Tabarani in Awsat narrated it," and he found fault with it for the same reason we have given.Muhammad bin Yahya bin Abu Sumaynah is trustworthy. Abu Hatim said, "He is truthful," and Ibn Hibban mentioned him in Thiqat.Abdul-Samad is Ibn Abdul-Warith bin Saeed."On the back of wealth" means "out of wealth." Ibn Athir said, "The word 'back' is sometimes added in expressions like this to give the speech fullness and firmness, just as one says, 'I memorized it from the back of my heart,' and 'he carries the Quran on the back of his tongue.'" See Asas.Al-Radf, with a fatha on the ra and a sukun on the dad, refers to stones heated over fire.In (ح) it reads, "They said, in the evening of a night," but the correct reading is "he said," as it appears in (ك) and (هـ).
