Jibreel came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was playing with the other boys. He took hold of him, threw him down, and cut open his chest. He extracted the heart, then split it open and removed from it a clot of blood. He said, "This is Satan's portion of you."Then he washed it in a basin of gold using water from Zamzam, sealed it back together, and returned it to its place.The boys came running to his mother, meaning his wet-nurse, saying, "Muhammad has been killed!"They went out to meet him and found him pale in color.Anas said, "I used to see the mark of the stitching on his chest."
حدثنا حسن حدثنا حماد أخبرنا ثابت البناني
أن رسول الله ﷺ أتاه جبريل وهو يلعب مع الغلمان فأخذه فصرعه وشق عن قلبه فاستخرج القلب ثم شق القلب فاستخرج منه علقة فقال هذه حظ الشيطان منك قال فغسله في طست من ذهب من ماء زمزم ثم لأمه ثم أعاده في مكانه قال وجاء الغلمان يسعون إلى أمه يعني ظئره فقالوا إن محمدا قد قتل قال فاستقبلوه وهو منتقع اللون قال أنس وكنت أرى أثر المخيط في صدره
