We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the morning of Arafah. Some of us were calling out the takbir and some were calling out the talbiyah. Neither was the one calling out the takbir criticized for his takbir, nor was the one calling out the talbiyah criticized for his talbiyah.

كنا مع رسول الله ﷺ غداة عرفة منا المكبر ومنا المهل لا يعاب على المكبر تكبيره ولا على المهل إهلاله

Its isnad is sahih. Abdul-Aziz is the son of Abdullah bin Abu Salama Majishun, mentioned previously in the preceding narration, and Muhammad bin Abu Bakr Thaqafi Hijazi is trustworthy. The hadith was narrated by Nasai, 5/250, no. 3000, by way of Malik, from Muhammad bin Abu Bakr, from him, in the chapters on the rites of pilgrimage, on the takbir during the journey to Arafah.
