The Prophet ﷺ said, "Some people will be touched by a scorching from the Fire as punishment for sins they committed, then Allah will admit them into Paradise by the grace of His mercy. They will be called the Jahannamiyyun."
حدثنا أبو عامر حدثنا هشام عن قتادة
أن النبي ﷺ قال ليصيبن ناسا سفع من النار عقوبة بذنوب عملوها ثم يدخلهم الله الجنة بفضل رحمته فيقال لهم الجهنميون
Its isnad is sahih. Abu Amir is Aqdi, and Hisham is Dastawai. Bukhari related the hadith 3/74 in the Book of Sales, in the chapter on the Prophet's buying on credit, through the route of Hisham from him. And Tirmidhi 4/510, number 1215, in the Book of Sales, on what has been said about the permission to buy on credit, and he said, hasan sahih.As for his saying "rancid fat," this refers to fat whose smell has changed, and nowadays we pronounce the sin as a zay.
