The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I reached the Lote Tree, and behold, its fruit was like large jars and its leaves were like the ears of elephants. When there came over it from the command of Allah what came over it, it transformed into rubies or emeralds or something of that nature."
حدثنا محمد بن أبي عدي عن حميد
قال رسول الله ﷺ انتهيت إلى السدرة فإذا نبقها مثل الجرار وإذا ورقها مثل آذان الفيلة فلما غشيها من أمر الله ما غشيها تحولت ياقوتا أو زمردا أو نحو ذلك

Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari narrated the hadith with similar wording, 6/303, no. 3207, Beginning of Creation, Mention of the Angels, Fath, and Muslim, 1/146, no. 162, in Faith, the Night Journey of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and in both of their versions the hadith appears in full.
