The Prophet ﷺ would breathe two or three times while drinking, and Anas would breathe three times.
حدثنا أبو عبيدة عن عزرة بن ثابت عن ثمامة بن عبد الله بن أنس
أن النبي ﷺ إذا شرب تنفس مرتين وثلاثا وكان أنس يتنفس ثلاثا
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Thumamah, the grandson of Anas, has his hadith recorded by the entire group of hadith compilers, and he is truthful. This hadith has already appeared at 12132.
