The Messenger of Allah ﷺ put his fingers together and placed them on the ground, saying, "This is the son of Adam." Then he raised them slightly behind that and said, "This is his appointed term." Then he threw his hand forward and said, "And there lies his hope."
حدثنا يزيد أخبرنا حماد بن سلمة عن عبيد الله بن أبي بكر
أن رسول ﷺ جمع أصابعه فوضعها على الأرض فقال هذا ابن آدم ثم رفعها خلف ذلك قليلا وقال هذا أجله ثم رمى بيده أمامه قال وثم أمله
