The final instructions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ as death approached him were mostly about the prayer and those whom your right hands possess, until the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was rattling these words in his chest, his tongue barely able to utter them.
حدثنا أسباط بن محمد حدثنا التيمي عن قتادة
كانت عامة وصية رسول الله ﷺ حين حضره الموت الصلاة وما ملكت أيمانكم حتى جعل رسول الله ﷺ يغرغر بها صدره وما يكاد يفيض بها لسانه
Its isnad is sahih. Asbat bin Muhammad Qurashi, their freed client, is trustworthy. Ibn Majah related the hadith, 1/519, no. 1625, in the book of funerals, mention of the illness of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and Hakim ruled it sahih, 3/57, attributing it to the two sheikhs.
