Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Sharik. Abu Usama is Hammad bin Usama, who is trustworthy, and likewise Asim bin Sulayman Ahwal. The hadith is found in Abu Dawud 4/301, no. 5002, in the book of manners, in the chapter on what has been said about joking, and in Tirmidhi 4/358, no. 1992, in the book of righteousness, with similar wording, where he said, hasan sahih gharib.
