The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "On the Day of Resurrection, there will not be anyone, rich or poor, who will not wish that he had been given only the bare necessities of life in this world."Yala said, "in this world."
حدثنا ابن نمير أخبرنا إسماعيل ويعلى بن عبيد قال حدثنا إسماعيل عن نفيع
قال رسول الله ﷺ ما من أحد يوم القيامة غني ولا فقير إلا ود أنما كان أوتي من الدنيا قوتا قال يعلى في الدنيا
Its chain of transmission is daif, because of Nuaym, who is Ibn Harith. Ismail is Ibn Abu Khalid, who is trustworthy. Ibn Majah related the hadith 2/1387, no. 4140, with its wording and chain, and Munziri indicated its weakness in Targhib 4/170, as did Ibn Hajar in Fath 11/275.
