Uqba bin Amir reported,

Uqba bin Amir reported that he set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the expedition of Tabuk. One day the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sat speaking with his companions and said, "Whoever rises when the sun has climbed in the sky, performs ablution well, then stands and prays two units of prayer, his sins will be forgiven, and he will be as pure as the day his mother bore him."Uqba bin Amir said, "I exclaimed, 'Praise be to Allah, who has granted me to hear this from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.'"Then Umar bin Khattab رضي الله عنه, who was sitting opposite me, said to me, "Are you amazed at this? The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said something even more amazing before you came."I asked, "What was that, may my father and mother be ransom for you?"Umar said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'Whoever performs ablution well, then raises his gaze to the heavens and says, "I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and His Messenger," the eight gates of Paradise are opened for him, and he may enter through whichever of them he wishes.'"
