The Messenger of Allah ﷺ never grieved over any expedition as much as he grieved over them. They used to be called the Reciters.Sufyan said, "Concerning them was revealed, 'Convey to our people on our behalf that we have been pleased and He has been pleased with us.'"Sufyan was asked, "About whom was this revealed?"He answered, "About the people of Bir Maunah."
