I never touched any silk or brocade softer than the palm of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, nor did I ever smell any fragrance more pleasant than the scent of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
حدثنا ابن أبي عدي عن حميد قال
ما مسست شيئا قط خزا ولا حريرا ألين من كف رسول الله ﷺ ولا شممت رائحة أطيب من ريح رسول الله ﷺ
Its isnad is sahih. Bukhari related it in Manaqib, chapter on the description of the Prophet ﷺ, and Muslim in 4/1814, number 2330, in Fadail, on the pleasant fragrance of the Prophet ﷺ.
