A group of people from Urayna accepted Islam, but the climate of Madinah did not agree with them. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to them, "Why don't you go out to our herd of camels and drink their milk?"Humayd said, and Qatada reported from Anas, "and their urine."So they did. Once they recovered, they renounced Islam after having embraced it, killed the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ herdsman, who was a believer, or a Muslim, drove off the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ camels, and fled as enemy combatants. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent men after them. They were caught, and he had their hands and feet cut off, their eyes branded with hot iron, and left them in the Harra until they died.
